We would like to thank the Tesco Superstore at Derby Mickleover for allowing Disability Direct to promote their services to the general public at their store.

The services disability direct offer are

Tackling Hate Crime Together – A project funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner, to provide information and advice surrounding hate crime as well as supporting victims so that they are less isolated

Just Fun – A project funded by BBC Children In Need, offers free activities for young disabled people aged 11 – 18 and ensures that disabled children have the opportunity to take part and try things they might not otherwise have the opportunity too. Some of these activities are sporting sessions while others are workshops.

Welfare rights and benefits – This services provides free advice on a range of benefits as well as the option for our welfare rights officer to fill in many different disability related forms.

Information and advice – We provide this service especially for disabled people, older people, those with long term health conditions, carers and families. Just some of the areas we provide information and advice are on access, transport, equipment, leisure, support plans and volunteering

We will be at the Tesco store on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 3rd Of September from 9am – 5pm.
